Edge Architects is a Carbon Neutral company and strongly believes in the fundamental importance of reducing energy consumption and the impact on the environment from construction and building usage in general.

We are developing a flexible low energy leisure centre design model with full specifications in conjunction with ISG, DIS and Farebrother LLP. We have also recently designed a zero carbon lime rendered barn conversion in Macclesfield.

Edge Architects are keen to implement where sensible all relevant energy saving measures both energy in use and embodied energy in products. We subscribe to the green specifier’s register and have substantial experience of green architecture, low energy buildings and energy conservation.

We have arranged lectures for the RIBA on the subject and Justin is studying for an MPhil in Sustainable Housing at Sheffield University.
